N-ME 2010

Ellie-goulding

At this time of year, everyone thinks they should be making predictions on who is going to be big in 2010.  Which is exactly what I plan to do.  Yes, I have joined the sheep of soothsay to bring you my predictions of the best new music to hit the high street (and by high street I of course mean i-street…) next year (or this year depending on when you read this).  First up is Ellie Goulding.  Ellie has already been picked up by the likes of Radio One so you could say she has already made it but I predict big, no huge things for Miss Goulding when her Mark Ronson produced album comes out in 2010.  You can check her out on Myspace.com/elliegoulding.

Second up is Camilla Kerslake who is one of the first signings to Gary-I-can-write-a-tune-Barlows new label.  She, like most other new music acts can also be found on Myspace.  She also looks a wee bit like Natasha Bedingfield without the fear of God…

Finally is Julian Perretta.  He was the fabulous voice on Mark Ronsons ‘Stop me’ which shot to number one on its release.  Looking a little like a cross between the rocky one of X Factor and Marc Bolan he is going to be huge… speaking of which, I await the arrival of the new Marc Bolan musical ,20th Century Boy with anticipation.  If you are looking for a leading man, perhaps Julian could be a good shout… or song…
